Who am I?

There are lots of animals to be found in Britain. Some are easy to spot, like cats and dogs. Others can be very hard to find no matter how hard you search for them. Some animals live in our homes, on the farm, in fields, in trees or in rivers and canals. We have given them all a name so that we can say to our friends, "Did you see that cat on the school roof?" and "Look, quick, I can see a fox over there!" If we didn't give names to the animals we would have to call them all 'thingy' and that would be silly.
